Infants
Stepping Stone Academy Hampton’s Infant program supports children’s emotional development. Educators will be aware that it is vital for the children to feel safe, secure and accepted, all children recognized as unique individuals.
A consistent daily schedule will help the infants to know what to expect during the day and provide a sense of safety & security. We strive to create a home away from home feel to the center, where every child is accepted.
We encourage the parents to visit with their child in our classrooms so that we can form a trusting bond with both the child and parent.
Transition Period and Family Collaboration
We offer a three-day transition period with shorter hours to help ease your child’s adjustment to a new environment. During this time, parents have the opportunity to communicate closely with our staff about their child’s routines, preferences, and habits. This gradual introduction supports a smooth and comfortable transition for both the child and family.

Toddlers
Our Toddler program is designed nurture curiosity, independence and growth during one of the most exciting stages of early development. At our center, we understand that toddlers are active explorers who learn best through play, discovery, and meaningful interactions.
Our dedicated educators create a safe, stimulating, and caring environment where children can build confidence, develop social skills, and express themselves freely. Daily activities are carefully planned to support each child’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.
Through hands-on experiences such as art, music, sensory play, and outdoor exploration – toddlers begin to understand the world around them while developing language and problem solving skills.

The Preschool Room is designed to provide a purposeful blend of child-initiated play and intentional educator-led activities, supporting a strong foundation for early learning. During this stage, children are actively exploring their environment, building independence, and developing greater self-awareness and self-regulation.
Our experienced educators create engaging learning experiences that support development across multiple areas, including gross and fine motor skills, imaginative and dramatic play, construction and problem-solving activities, as well as creative expression and movement. These experiences are carefully planned to encourage curiosity, confidence, and active participation.
We value and respect the individuality of every child, recognizing that growth and development occur at different rates and in unique ways. Educators thoughtfully observe each child’s abilities, interests, and learning styles to design developmentally appropriate activities that meet individual needs while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
